Pour garantir la potabilité de l'eau du robinet, la concentration des nitrates/50 + nitrites/3 ne doit pas dépasser un seuil réglementaire fixé à 1mg/L. En cas de dépassement dans votre commune, contactez votre fournisseur d'eau.
En 2025, 77416 analyses ont été effectuées sur 16100 réseaux de distribution d'eau. Sur les dernières analyses réalisées, on retrouve en moyenne 0.21mg/L des nitrates/50 + nitrites/3 . Rappelons que le seuil est fixé à 1mg/L pour cet indicateur.
Le rapport nitrates/nitrites, qu'est-ce que c'est ?
Selon eaufrance, le paramètre correspond à : « la somme de la concentration en nitrates divisée par 50 et de celle en nitrites divisée par 3. La limite à respecter est de 1 mg/L. En sortie des installations de traitement, la limite de qualité en nitrites doit être inférieure ou égale à 0,10 mg/L ». En faisant le rapport nitrates/nitrites, on peut détecter des déséquilibres chimiques de l'eau, surveiller l'efficacité des traitements de potabilisation, etc.
